We are so excited to host young leaders from all over Kentucky! We represent countless struggles, communities and identities. We are students and community members; we are organizers, revolutionaries, ACTIVIST and ARTIST! We are the ones we have been waiting for. 

We each come with different backgrounds, representing different parts of our communities that we would like see change. This weekend, while enjoying the outdoors we are building a stronger coalition of young activist that will make great changes for Kentucky. We represent the parts of our communities that do not allow individual growth due to a broken system. 

We recognize the importance of this space we have created in central Kentucky to genuinely learn, acknowledge, and appreciate each other We are excited about the opportunity to come together form across all over Kentucky. This weekend is about being proud about the knowledge we have as a community. We are here to learn from activist in our communities and from each other. We ask that you stay open- and vulnerable- to new experiences and new people, new ideas and new perspectives.

As organizers, we must create this space for ourselves. We are making history; we are the heroes we have been waiting for in Kentucky. We hope that you all can take back to your community ARTivist skills and encourage others to be a voice for social changes.
